Scaw Limited has commissioned a new state-of-the-art multipurpose heat treatment furnace which can heat-treat both high chrome mill balls and forged mill balls. The furnace has heat a treatment capacity of 45-50tons per day with power consumption of 600kWh. It is both automated and manual, making operation easy. The heat treatment furnace has significantly improved the properties of high chrome mill balls and forged mill balls produced. Production has increased by between 50% – 100%.
